In 2018, we had a big 'aha!' moment after reading the book Drawdown, which gives 100 strategies for reversing climate change. Nine of those strategies have to do with land use, and combined they could "drawdown" 149.6 Gigatons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. We bought our first property a month later.
We buy land so that we can make sure our little corner of the earth is used responsibly, creating the greatest benefit to the ecosystem. While we love the big rural parcels, we also work with smaller lots in developing areas.
